Sculptor Jarkko Roth’s granite sculpture Protected Growth honours the City of Turku’s investment in business and the secure environment for growth that the city offers companies.

A granite shoot appears to emerge between two granite blocks resembling the halves of a seed coat. Shaped like a germinating plant, it symbolises a new beginning, development and growth.
