Papu is an artwork created for play and produced through a collaboration between five artists. Community participation was central to the project from the outset, and ideas for the work were collected through workshops for children. This allowed its future users to participate in the planning process from the very beginning.

The result is a green, winged creature resembling a cross between a lizard and an insect, inviting children to climb, slide and play.
