Those Looking Up to the Stars, located beside Myllysilta Bridge, consists of four sculptures representing different stages of human life. The figures, whose visual language draws on the world of cartoons and is characterised by exaggerated and distorted anatomy, convey dreams, contemplation and moments of stillness.

In Today, an adolescent figure sits in the lotus position, evoking the search for inner peace. The headphones over the figure’s ears suggest a desire to leave the surrounding world and its worries behind by becoming absorbed in music.
